Two inputs, that is all

How long have you got, and what are you in the mood for?

That is the whole setup. No address to type, no destination to research, no evening spent deciding. Try it — the card follows along.

Vibe

Reach figures here are a rough feel for the distance. In the app the numbers come from real routing data for the streets you are actually standing on.

Destination
Somewhere with a counter

A walk with a reason to sit down at the end of it.

In the app this is where you press Take Me Somewhere.

The walk

A line drawn one street at a time.

Scroll, and the outing happens.

Progress Mode Compass
  1. You are here

It starts wherever you are standing.

No destination search, no address to type. The only input it needs is how long you have and roughly what you are in the mood for.

  2. First turn

The route is real, even when it is hidden.

Geometry, distance and ETA come from actual map and routing data. Compass Mode hides the destination from you, not from the app.

  3. Off course

    Wander and it quietly re-plans.

Drift a little and nothing happens. Drift properly and it finds a better line without making a fuss about it.

  4. Arrival

Then it tells you where you have been walking to.

The reveal lands when you are close, or the moment you ask for it. Some outings are better ruined early.

Two ways to be guided

Mystery or map. Switch mid-walk.

Same route underneath, two different amounts of knowing. You can flip between them at any point, and reveal the destination whenever the mystery stops being fun.

Keep heading this way

Direction only

Compass Mode

An arrow, a sense of distance, and the occasional nudge. It points along the route rather than straight through buildings, and it smooths turns so the needle does not flicker.

  • Destination hidden or softened
  • Points along the route, not the crow-flies bearing
  • Simple hints: keep heading this way, you are close
  • Reveal the place whenever you want it
Distance and time from routing data

The whole picture

Route Mode

The map, the line, the stops, the estimate. For when you want confidence rather than mystery, or you need to know whether you will be back in time.

  • Destination and any stops shown
  • Route line and live progress
  • Time estimate you can plan around
  • Recalculates if you drift too far

Ground truth

What it actually does with the map, and with you.

  • Real routing, not invented directions

Route geometry, distance and ETA come from map and routing data. The app is opinionated about where to send you, not about how far it is.

  • Walking first

The first version is built for going outside on foot. Riding and driving are planned as later travel modes, using the same route model.

  • Your location, for the thing you asked for

Current location is used to work out where you can get to and to guide you there. Route history, if it ever arrives, is designed to be optional and local.

Go outside

You have twenty minutes. That is enough.
