Audio Book Choices is an interactive “choose your story” audiobook app. The privacy direction is simple: collect no personal data, require no account, keep everything on your device, use no analytics or tracking, and share nothing with third parties.

3. Information We Handle

On-Device App Data

Audio Book Choices stores the following only on your device:

your progress through a story, including which choices you made and where you are in a book
which books you have unlocked
app settings and preferences, such as your input method (tap or head-nod) and playback options

This information stays on your device. It is not sent to us or to any third party. Deleting the app removes this local data, subject to normal iOS and Android backup and restore behavior.

Headphone Motion Data (iOS Head-Nod Feature, Optional)

On iOS, Audio Book Choices offers an optional feature that lets you answer Yes or No by nodding or shaking your head while wearing supported headphones such as AirPods. When this feature is enabled, the app reads headphone motion data from the operating system to detect the gesture.

This motion data is used only in the moment to recognize your gesture. It is processed entirely on your device, is never stored, and is never transmitted off the device. If you do not enable the feature, or your device or headphones do not support it, no motion data is used. You can always make choices by tapping instead.

Support And Contact Information

If you email support, we may receive your email address, your message, and any details you choose to include, such as device model, OS version, and app version. Please avoid sending sensitive personal information in support messages unless it is necessary for your request.

Website Technical Information

The Audio Book Choices website pages are static and informational. Ordinary hosting and security infrastructure may process technical information such as IP address, browser type, requested URL, referring URL, timestamps, and server logs to deliver and secure the site.

App Store And Platform Information

If you download or update Audio Book Choices through the Apple App Store or Google Play, those platforms may process account, download, purchase, crash, diagnostics, review, and device information under their own terms and privacy policies. Audio Book Choices does not receive full payment-card numbers from these platforms.

4. Analytics, Tracking, And Advertising

Audio Book Choices does not use analytics tools, tracking technologies, advertising identifiers, or cross-context behavioral advertising inside the app. The app does not build a profile of you and does not follow you across apps or websites.

5. AI Narration

Audio Book Choices uses AI to narrate stories. Narration audio and story content are delivered as part of the app experience. The app does not send your personal data, your voice, or your choices to any service for the purpose of profiling or advertising. If a future version changes how content is generated or delivered in a way that affects your data, this policy will be updated before that change is used.

6. How We Use Information

Because the app collects no personal data, there is little to use. We may use the limited information described above to:

App distribution, updates, and any future purchases are handled by the Apple App Store and Google Play under their own policies.

8. Retention

On-device app data remains on your device until you clear it in the app where available or delete the app. Support messages may be kept for as long as reasonably needed to respond and maintain support records. Website technical logs are kept by hosting providers according to their operational settings.

9. Security

We use reasonable measures to protect any information we control, but no method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure. Because app data stays on your device, you should protect access to your device.

10. Your Choices

You can:

choose whether to enable the optional head-nod feature, and use tapping instead
change app settings and preferences
clear local app data in the app where available, or delete the app to remove local data
